15.1 hand Quarter Horse
Cutter is privately owned by Linda Garrison, but Linda's schedule is as such, that she has granted permission for Cedar Lodge to use Cutter as a lesson horse.
Cutter was Linda's daughter's 4H horse many moons ago. He is a been there, and done that, all around 4H horse. Back in his younger years he was a competitive contender at the fair in western pleasure, English showmanship, halter classes and more.
These days, Cutter, teaches kids how to walk and trot, and gives many their first strides at the canter. His slow rocking horse gait and easy demeanor has made him a favorite of both the instructors and kids. Cutter is so quiet, our youngest riders can learn to lead him around the farm and stand on a stool to groom and tack him up.
Cutter was born around 1990 and is a registered quarter horse. He is 15.1 and as black as they come with a giant white star on his forehead. He spends the majority of the day sticking his head out in the center aisle of the barn asking for cookies, and inciting you to come over and scratch his ears.
